Manager in Audit department

We are looking for the Manager in Audit department for a full-time position in Kiev office of Mazars Ukraine.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide both leadership and supervision to staff and seniors in the execution of audit engagements
  • Supervise multiple engagements including international referred audit work as well as acquisition, due diligence or accounting, legal and tax services
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with client management throughout the year. Carry out work to a high technical standard in a commercially beneficial manner
  • Manage technical accounting issues and present alternatives and conclusions
  • Assume a coaching of performance management role: conduct timely performance reviews and provide staff with counselling and career guidance
  • Involvement in training of staff
  • Involvement in firm / department / practice development and marketing initiatives
  • Reporting to a management team of international and local partners

Principal Requirements

  • Experience in corporate assignments performed under ISA
  • Experience IFRS matters (US GAAP would be a +)
  • At least 5 year experience in audit, including 2-3 years in a Big Four firm  
  • Willingness and ability to travel to client locations
  • Communication skills (written and oral) required to provide leadership and mentoring to staff
  • Motivated to meet client deadlines and provide distinguished client service
  • Interpersonal skills, strong presentation skills, and motivated by challenging assignments
  • Autonomy and initiative skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Organisational and planning capabilities
  • Ability to work to deadlines and deliver under pressure
  • Computer-literacy skills


  • ACCA certificate
  • “A” Certificate of Auditor (“B” Certificate would be a +)
  • Fluent in English. Another foreign language would be a + (in particular German or Chinese)
